As an Allergic Living contributor, I explore the transformative role of gardening in expanding the dietary horizons of my food-allergic children. Our family garden serves as a source of fresh produce and a nurturing space where my sons safely explore new foods and develop culinary interests despite their dietary restrictions. I discuss how this hands-on experience has enabled them to try foods and textures previously avoided due to allergies and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), enhancing their quality of life and culinary creativity.
